Warrior Pocket Sun On the Pewpew

I got my first Olight, the Perun 2 in this beautiful colour few months ago after a month of researching the head torches market. I've literally spent hundreds of ££ over the years trying to find the best head torch and unfortunately took me quite some time before I finally came across Olight. My favourite daily driver at least 5 days a week! Love the battery run times, the size, the weight, the build quality, design and so on, and so on. A great overall performance and I regret not buying it years ago!
I then thought why not having a light of similar size and features for home as well? Well, soon after that there were some sick deals and grabbed the Baton 3 Pro Max in orange and I love it equally to the Perun 2!
I will definitely be buying more Olights in future, trying to stay away for now tho, not looking to go broke too soon.. :D

After receiving the Brass Friendship i3T2 as a surprise gift last December I had to get the Copper Oclip to accompany it to make a special material duo.

The one item that goes with me on every walk I do is the Titanium Single-Wall Folding Handle Camp Mug with Lid. It weighs nothing, came in it's own mesh bag and hold two cups of Hot coffee, tea or chocolate from a double walled 500ml bottle. I take all three on long walks! And the sad thing is - it's been discontinued.
Of course I take a couple of torches which vary depending on the type of walk, the length, and how long I will be out.  I have so many to choose from - one for every situation! But the one thing that is constant is that mug!

We love getting together for a gathering at a beach and a BBQ. Now the evenings are drawing in we quite often end up finishing in the dark. That's where a fire and my olight torches come into their own. I carry an i3e always which is handy for close up situations liking packing up. Then I take my seeker torch for bigger output. This means we can safely scan the area for anything left behind, make sure we take all our rubbish with us and make sure everyone makes it back the carpark safe.
They really help us finish the beach trips without worrying about the dark catching us out.

Monty loves his early morning/late night walks so, whoever has the honour, gets to pick which colour ‘poo’ light to take. The i3E EOS is the perfect size to hold in the mouth whilst wrangling the lead and the poo bag 😁

For me the Baton series of lights is the only EDC light I will ever need. This thumb sized light is a mighty powerhouse and the S1R Baton 2 in the collage was the 2nd Olight I bought back in 2019 and has been in faithful service since. As a baseball hat wearer I often clip this light to my hat and thus boom I have a handsfree/headlight option or alternatively attached to any magnetic surface via the tail end magnetic base and now you have a handsfree useable work-light. 
With the upgraded Baton 3 with longer runtimes and brighter outputs along came a charging case further adding to the versatility of my favourite carry. Could Olight do better, of course, and the latest version the Baton 4 is almost perfect. Again longer runtimes and brighter outputs and now the charging case can cater for all the Baton series from 2 to 4 as well as the Perun mini and now doubles as a power-bank. If the next version's charging case can be designed to be waterproof and comes with an adaptor for the power-bank charging cable then I believe perfection will be achieved.

I've been doing a lot of painting and decorating in the evening recently and the Odiance has been an excellent tool to help me see what I'm doing. The ability to change colour temperature is really helpful when painting, and the remote control is a great timesaver too. I've also used the powerbank feature a couple of times and that's been a bonus.

Having young kids at home makes the O-Bulbs a particular favourite (bathtime, night light etc)… so when my son’s school decided on a Robot dress up day, (don’t ask, I’ve no idea either!) the antenna had to be crowned off with some specialist equipment - the flashing red obulb! 🤣🙌🏻💙🤖

I have iminis right up to MM2 but my favourite is still my Seeker 3 Pro night wolf.  Since I now have more torches than I know what to do with, I’m just as obsessed with collecting patches!

My classy brass Baton 3 Pro Max is my most liked and used Olight. It's  heavy in weight and feels good in hand. It has enough lumens to produce a great light in the dark. This Olight product is most valuable also to me because of the material it's made of and its powerful light. Brass is classy in any man's hands for sure!👌🏼🤩

One of our seemingly endless outdoor hobbies is exploring abandoned mines, where the amount of light our Olights can crank out, coupled with their reliability means they're heavily featured in our torch selection. This is an abandoned calcite spar mine in North Wales. We went down the mine with our friend and his daughter who was 14 at the time and had such a great time climbing up and down in the abandoned stopes! Beautiful memories of this inspiring place! 😍

My favourite Olight

Was late to the olight party, only discovering them in May 2021.  I very quickly became addicted and reached yellow diamond in about 2 years.   I have over 200 Olight torches to date. The two in the picture are my very first (Warrior Mini), and my most recent birthday surprise gift (i3T2).  I am now focusing on the Damascus ones and the Oclips.  Can't wait for the Damascus Oclip 😉

I have previously entered my story but I may have gone over the top with detail. My OCD tends to do that. I thought I would dial it back a fair bit.  I started with my very first olight purchase of a Baton S1R II in Black. I now own absolutely loads of olight products as some of you have seen in my Facebook posts and that's not them all. Yet.. watch this space. Literally. I need more space to fit them all in. The 4 flashlights in the photos are the ones that I used to take with me on my friends farm in the middle of nowhere on the moor so I could cover all eventualities. Baton S1R II, close up views. Then the rest cover the brightness of the Marauder 2. The option of different light colour R.G.B. with the Marauder Mini and then the distance beam with the Javelot Turbo. I only needed these 4 flashlights to cover the whole 20 acres. Olight are a genius company. NOW CAN I WIN A FREE TORCH PLEASE.... 🤞

Just How Far The Flashlights Have Advanced In A Few Years. Especially Olights.

My first Olight purchase was the Baton S1R II in Black in November 2022. I have since been hooked and addicted to olight products. When I first opened the Baton S1R II and saw the sheer build quality and the little extra touches and effort that has gone into even the packaging I knew there and then I hadn't come across a company like this before to do with Flashlights and there attention to detail is plausible. I then fully charged my Baton S1R II as explained before the first use. I then waited until it was dark to see how it performed. OMG... I thought how is it possible that such a small flashlight put out this amount of light. Incredible. I then thought back to around 4 years ago when I used to visit my friends farm in the middle of nowhere on the moors around 1 hour drive from my home. I used to do vermin control and check over the wide open fields checking for unscrupulous people with my best friend (My Plummer Terrier Dog) no longer with me. 💔. I used to carry an absolute MONSTER of a flashlight, a 1 million candle power. It was so heavy that I had to tape foam to the carry strap to make it just bearable to shoulder it for a few minutes at a time. It took 4 hours to charge and only lasted 20 minutes and that was in short on and off bursts. Fast forward to the present day with the greatness of olights. The sheer ability and brightness of the Marauder 2 with the built in Flood and Square Spot with the genius powerbank built in for those emergency phone charger situations all that in a flashlight that's smaller than just the battery in my old 1 million candle power flashlight. Then olight come up with the goods again and bring out the baby brother to the Marauder 2, the Marauder Mini. Yes it may only have half the Lumens at 7000 over the 14000 of the Marauder 2 but the Marauder Mini in my opinion is a more manageable size for your grab and go flashlight. It also benefits from a rechargeable removable battery over the built in one on the Marauder 2 which I actually prefer, this gives you the opportunity to carry spare fully charged batteries to extend the run time. It also takes away the worry of when the built in battery comes to the end of it's life span on the Marauder 2 as it's built in and not removable  to the likes of me. I wouldn't know where to start. I also like that the Marauder Mini has the different colour light beam optios, standard white, then also it as Red, Green, and Blue options at the push of a button. The Marauder Mini also has the Flood and Spot at the flick of a switch same as the Marauder 2 but the Marauder Mini has a circular spot beam rather than the square spot on the Marauder 2 which I find easier to get used to so yet another fantastic olight addition. Then I decided to go for the Javelot Turbo which at the time of purchase and I still think it is now as I write. It's got the furthest spot beam that olight do at 1300 metres. That's immense from a flashlight that can also be rifle mounted and couple with a magnetic remote switch for vermin control should you wish to do so or if this is what the farmer employs you to do (it happens in the countryside, it's actually needed and beneficial) I'm only saying that the Javelot Turbo is capable of this. It is also a great security flashlight as in my case. Even though it's a tighter spot beam the distance it covers is amazing. The flashlight shines that far to benefit the flashlight I also use binoculars. It makes a massive difference. You can also get spare battery pack for the Turbo when I purchased it but I didn't realise and missed the half price battery deal that was on when I purchased. Gutted. These are my 4 flashlights that make me smile every time I take them out. Yes I have tons more smaller edc ones but I wanted to discuss just how advanced the olight flashlights are now to what I previously used back in the day. 😁 I think after all that. I should hopefully be chosen to WIN MY FIRST EVER FREE FLASHLIGHT IN THE #OSTORY COMPETITION. 🤞👍

As an avid hiker and wildcamper, trekking poles are essential items when heading off trail, offering stability and safety on rough terrain. The Olight Beamwalk poles go one step further by offering white and red output, allowing me to travel safely at night too! Lightweight, robust and incredibly well made, i never leave home without them now!

Gamechanger!

After a long exhausting day in the field doing some prospection work for a mining company in Angola, our geologist suggested we visit a nearby cave. It was about 40 minutes before sunset when we reached the cliff leading to the bottom of the canyon where the cave is located. We were escorted by some locals that assured us that we have enough time to reach our destination and come back before dark. We didn't know we had to descend more than 150 meters to reach the entrance of the cave till we got there and definitely didn't expect the cave to be that huge. Needless to say, after walking for hundreds of meters inside the dark cave, when we came out from the other side it was pitch black. Luckily, I had my "Warrior 3" with me that saved the day. But after climbing up a very narrow and steep path in a very dangerous zone, you realize that even a 176g torch like the Warrior 3 becomes heavy to hold. Long story short, Olight saved my life that day. And since that incident I invested in a few Perun 2 & Perun 2 mini models as you'll definitely need both of your hands to be free when you're in survival mode!
