Below is a brief overview of the Olight Warrior Mini 2 Compact EDC Torch.
The Olight Warrior Mini 2 is an upgrade to the very popular Olight Warrior Mini. With improved power and throw in addition to a few new features, let's see if the new version is worth the upgrade.
Overview
The Warrior Mini 2 comes with a high-performance LED and is powered by a customized 3500mAh 3.6V 18650 rechargeable lithium battery with a maximum output of 1750 lumens and maximum throw of 220m - that's 17% brighter and 16% further than the original Olight Warrior Mini.
It's still fairly light and compact - weighing only 122g and having a total length just under 12cm.
As with the majority of Olight torches - charging occurs directly through the tail cap using Olight’s signature magnetic charging cable.

My Impressions
Beam Quality
As with all the Olight torches that I have tested - the Warrior Mini 2 has an excellent, well-balanced uniform beam - providing good throw to see things in the distance and equally good flood for near objects.
1750 lumens
500 lumens
The Olight Warrior Mini is an excellent all round tactical torch and the Warrior Mini 2 is even better..
It's slightly heavier and slightly longer than its predecessor, but not by much... it's still extremely portable and the improved brightness and throw more than make up for the increase in weight and size.
In addition to this there are new features, such as the proximity sensor and detachable lanyard.
500 lumens will be bright enough for the majority of outdoor activities and a runtime of 218 minutes at that level before needing a re-charge is very good.
And of course, if you do find yourself needing more light - then you've got a whopping 1750 lumens to hand too!
